01

Identify the bodies before comparing a premium

Keep original market, production generation, physical VIN and legal body description with each offer. The body and market guide distinguishes China A3L from other Sedan and Sportback proposals. Registration year or a translated long-wheelbase label cannot replace supported configuration. Do not assign current China dimensions to every earlier car or treat global Sedan material as proof of the offered A3L. Retain original records alongside the translation. The useful comparison concerns actual vehicles the household could accept, not an attractive A3L photograph against an unspecified alternative whose equipment and condition are silently assumed identical.

02

Trial the regular rear occupant with front seats set

Place the driver and front passenger in their normal supported positions before checking the rear arrangement. The family-use guide helps retain occupied access, seated posture and ordinary luggage together. A wheelbase number is context, not a guarantee of comfort for every person. Demonstrate the recurring task that motivates the premium, including entering and leaving in the ordinary parking environment where feasible. If the front arrangement changes materially during the trial, record that change. The choice should explain an actual observed benefit rather than infer that every extra marketed dimension automatically improves the owner’s daily occupied journey.

03

Keep the actual restraints and all needed seats

Use the child-seat fit review for actual restraints and applicable installation instructions. Test required positions simultaneously; a seat that fits alone may not establish the full household arrangement. Retain access to restraint controls and ordinary supported passenger handling. Do not improve the cargo result by folding a seat needed for an occupant. Where the arrangement remains unsuitable, consider another supported trial or vehicle rather than letting a long-body sales argument override the fixed requirement. The result should retain what was actually tested and its limits instead of declaring universal child-seat suitability from a model or body name.

04

Compare present condition and receiving support

Arrange suitable examination through the inspection checklist, keeping relevant history and initial/storage checks distinct for new proposals. Ask providers about applicable body and component support through A3L and Sportback parts matching. A related Audi name does not establish that body parts or every installed system are interchangeable. Retain equipment and legitimate service access separately from physical space. A car can provide useful rear fit while carrying consequential uncertainty that still prevents acceptance. The premium needs a supported starting state, not an assumption that greater passenger space certifies mechanical health or supplies receiving assistance.

05

Align the accepted prepared amounts

Use the price guide to compare actual equipment, current examination, agreed preparation, objects and delivery boundary. Separate body-related value from known correction and missing scope. Count included operations once. Do not invent a standard amount per extra unit of wheelbase or guarantee that another buyer will repay the premium later. The three-year ownership worksheet can retain labelled care and disposal assumptions if they matter. A demonstrated recurring comfort benefit can justify more without cash payback, but describe it as that owner’s practical benefit rather than a universal financial return from the A3L badge.

06

Use a recurring rear-passenger example

Consider a household that regularly carries an adult behind the driver, with the front seat already set for its normal user. The identified A3L and alternative should both be tried that way, with the usual bags and required restraints retained. If one arrangement solves a repeated access or posture difficulty, record the result and any accepted limitation. If both work adequately, the extra amount needs another explicit reason. This is a personal occupied-use comparison, not a universal dimensional recommendation or a claim that a particular marketed body must suit every household better.

07

Preserve the observed reason for acceptance

Write original body identity, occupied arrangement, restraint result, current findings and support conditions in the purchase equipment schedule. State why the premium is accepted and which evidence remains conditional. A changed VIN, generation or required passenger arrangement needs an affected trial. Do not transfer the conclusion merely because another car carries similar A3L wording. The result can favour the longer China body, an examined alternative or more evidence. It should remain understandable after brochure-only dimensions and future resale promises are removed, without implying that body fit proves every later vehicle or receiving outcome.
